These cutters are not as small as I thought that they would be. They fit well in my hand and the handle and grip are comfortable.
The spring works well and there was never a time were they stuck in place. The blades are really sharp and they hold up rather well on plastics and thin metals.
The angle is good to get nice and close. I was mainly using them to clip off the plastic nibs from models that I build. My old set of cutters went missing and they were getting dull anyways. This pair is working great and I will get many years of use from them.
This is a nice set of sharp side cutters. The edges are clean and smooth and are perfect for precision clean cuts of materials such as wire or plastic. The spring loaded handles allow for easy opening and closing and the jaws open wide enough to cut materials up to 1/4 thick provided they are not too hard. Very happy with these cutters.
I bought these 6" flush cutting diagonal pliers to cut plastic drip-irrigation tubing so I could reuse the connectors and drippers. I started with 4" flush cutting pliers which are suitable for fine electronic work (copper wire and leads) but I needed a blade with a longer cutting edge and more leverage. These 6" pliers are just that. They are well made in terms of how well ground they are (no light visible when viewing through the closed pliers) and the joint is very tight, no wiggle even when I bend the handles out of plane. Though they are chrome vanadium, I imagine users should limit use to copper and other soft, non-ferrous metals given how the cutting edge is ground, a care-of-use factor with other flush cutting pliers.
Really sharp and work well very impressed
I needed it to remove nails that were pushed too deep in the walls and to cut ziptie. It did both without issue! It seems sturdy. It also cuts without issue, seems sharp enough! The grip is not especially confortable, but it's not terrible either (a very normal grippe for that kind of tool). Its a good deal for the price!
