Good product, if not a bit pricey. Excellent build quality and very easy to use.
I had to cut an existing ethernet cable and these connectors allowed me to use the existing install without having to purchase a crimping tool.

Good for its purpose. Would buy again if needed.

I needed to install these connectors on an underground Cat5 cable I had run from my home to an outbuilding as I wanted to set up a bridge router in the outbuilding. The connectors fit perfectly on the cable. I used the T568B wiring configuration and got a perfect test signal.

The Ethernet cable coming thru the concrete block wall from the Frontier Fiber Moca box was not only a Cat5, but it was also damaged & if bumped, would stop passing a signal to the router on the inside. Instead of just making the hole in the concrete wall large enough (or a new one) for a new patch cable with ends already attached (I'm in a rental), i used a Cat 7 patch cable i already had that was also twice as long as the one ran by Frontier. I cut off one of the male connectors & ran the bare end thru the current hole in the wall from the outside in to where the router is located. Using a regular coax stripper, i was able to remove the outer cover of the ethernet cable without disturbing the internal wires, removed outer foil insulation of each twisted pair, separated them & put them in their color coordinated slots, trimmed the excess wire from the terminal, inserted it the slot on the connector, closed it, screwed on the end cap, plugged one end in the "in" outlet on the router & the other in the "out" outlet on the moca box outside & crossed my fingers (dont have tester). By the time i got back inside, the router was showing it had an internet connection. Ran several speed tests from several different sources on my hard wired pc, including Frontier & they were actually a tad faster than before. Now i've got a much longer cable to better place the router, a stable, fast connection & of course going from Cat 5 to Cat 7, more bandwidth!
Being my first time doing this, i was a bit nervous & it took more time to line up the individual wires but i printed out screen shots from the product video showing where each wire goes since the instructions arent really helpful & didnt have to redo a single wire! Very happy with the product & the results...
